Apple Dumpling Festival Weekend (Shreve)

The Apple Dumpling Festival held at Whispering Hills RV Park includes their famous apple dumpling dessert, apple butter stirring, and crafts. Kick-off the season of FALL FAMILY FUN and enjoy a day with the kids at the Annual Apple Dumpling Festival- a family tradition for over 50 years! Visit the local crafters, artisans, & bakers, explore their 8-acre corn maze, play in the children’s straw maze, tour a cabin, make & take crafts, listen to live music, explore the beauty of nature on the hiking trails, take a Percheron Draft Horse drawn wagon ride, purchase a pumpkin, help make Apple Butter, participate in contests & drawings, grab a bite to eat and don’t forget to purchase some of Mrs. Saurer’s famous Apple Dumplings (dine in or carry home)! Algonquin Mill Festival (Carrollton)

The annual event is held at the Mill Complex, four miles south of Carrollton, Ohio on State Route 332. Thousands of fall foliage seekers, craft lovers and history buffs converge at the festival each year to step back in time, and revel in the sights and sounds of autumn in Ohio. Visitors can explore a steam-powered flouring mill and sawmill, old time print shop, NYC Railroad station and HO model layout, antique cars and tractors, steam powered engines and an art and photo show.

Fall Festival at The Farm at Walnut Creek

October 6,7,9 and 13-14, 2017
The Fall Festival at The Farm at Walnut Creek will now be October 6, 7, 9, 13 and 14. Now expanded to five days over two weekends, this event will include food, fall decorations, horseshoeing, broom making, pumpkin slingshot, straw castle, scavenger hunt, corn box, sheep shearing, spinning and the horse drawn wagon rides. An activity that children of all ages really enjoy is the “corn box.” In the corn box, traditional sand is replaced with corn for a sensory experience.

Holmes County Antique Festival (Millersburg)

The Holmes County Antique Festival is a yearly fall festival which takes place in Historic Downtown Millersburg, Ohio. Charm Days (Charm)

October 13-14, 2017
Charm, a small Amish town, is located on State Rt. 557 in rural Holmes County. Annually, in mid-October, the quaint community of Charm hosts Charm Days, which is a two day event hosting a bake sale, flea market, yard sales, old-fashioned chili and pies from the local school benefit and fiddling program. Merchants also offer discounts, specials and a grand prize drawing that brings the little town of Charm together.

Baltic Fall Harvest Fest

October 21, 2017
Annual Fall Harvest Fest in Baltic. There will be a pancake breakfast from 7 to 10 a.m. by the Baltic Fire Department. The 5k Walk/Run will begin at 9 a.m. (registration at 8 a.m.) From 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., there will be music, games, inflatables, hayrides, pumpkin decorating and more! Food includes pulled pork, apple dumplings, pizza, ice cream, popcorn, and pumpkin pie!
